WHAT IS CARB-CYCLING?

Samreedhi Goel specializes in carb cycling diets. The way she goes about it is by giving you a plan for seven days, where your preferences, likes, dislikes, ease of cooking, your health issues, everything taken into account and then a plan is set and given to you for seven days. Now, in this process, there are certain high and low carb days where the carbs are adjusted in the main meals, that is your breakfast, lunch and dinner.
However, because it is a carb-centric diet, at no point of time are you starved or are asked to stop any particular food group. In fact, this diet plan ensures that you eat enough of complex carbohydrates, which are the good carbohydrates for your body, as a result of which your blood glucose remains stable.
It is a low glycemic index diet when it is planned in this manner and over a period of time not only does it help you to lose weight but it helps to stabilize your glucose levels and improve your metabolic rate because there is a good amount of protein given at every meal along with the complex carbohydrate.
